It does not crash, but I do have to close it using task manager as it is unresponsive.
I even let the system run for 24 hours once it had frozen and the status did not change, so I think I can safely say that the program is freezing. The elapsed time and estimated time keep counting, but the preview either freezes or turns black and I have let the process continue until the estimated time reaches zero and then the elapsed time keeps going (have let it go to 70 minutes when it should have taken 9 minutes based on the estimated time). The problem I encounter is the render process stops suddenly at different stages of the render process (sometimes as low as 2%, sometimes around 20% done, sometimes 50%, sometimes as much as 90% done). I am having problems with the rendering process using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum- Version 9.0b (Build 92). I am almost as green to video editing as you can get, so please bear with me.
